In 2023, Vietnam and the Netherlands celebrate 50 years of diplomatic relations and more than 400 years of people-to-people contacts. The visual identity combines the Vietnamese lotus flower and the Dutch tulip which symbolize bilateral values of both countries — peace, harmony, hospitality, partnership and friendship. In cooperation with the Netherlands Embassy in Hanoi and the Consulate-General in Ho Chi Minh City.
The identity is launched together with Liesje Schreinemacher, Netherlands Minister for Foreign Trade & Development Cooperation at the Reunification Palace in Ho Chi Minh City as part of the trade mission end of November 2022.
